It’s an excellent opportunity as it’s with a professional facilitator from outside Leeds.

The training course runs for one day per week over a six week period.

The delivery venues are:

  • Echo centre LS8 starting on the 7th February
  • Hamara Centre LS11 starting on the 19th February

Leeds Refugee Forum have a number of volunteer positions available in February 2013

 

Administrative Assistants

Enthusiastic volunteers required with organizational and administrative experience or skills. For general office support, including:

  • Word processing
  • Creating and maintaining filing systems
  • Assist with database management, membership records, correspondence, photocopies, training/information packets and mailings as well as contributing to the Newsletter and assisting with information updates.

IT Support

Volunteers with IT support skills needs for teaching beginner computer users:

  • Very Basic Computer Skill
  • Computer Vocabulary
  • Opening and Saving Files
  • Skills and activities Practice
  • MS Word Exercises
  • Internet
